Terms and Conditions
By signing up for a QuickMatch event, or registering your details on this web site, you hereby agree to be bound by the Terms & Conditions of this agreement and you further warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to abide by all the Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, then you may not use the QuickMatch web site in any form, nor participate in its events. By registering with QuickMatch you provide your assurance that you are at least 18 years old and not married. If you choose to register for an event, you acknowledge all the information you provide is true and accurate. Any misrepresentation will lead to the termination of your membership and speed dating session. QuickMatch does not scrutinize or otherwise check the validity of, or backgrounds of, any participant of its events including their marital status. It is your full, complete and sole responsibility to perform these actions, if desired, to your satisfaction.
QuickMatch aims to offer participants 15-20 speed dates per event but is unable to guarantee this quantity. Should participants for whatever reason not attend an event, numbers may be slightly decreased. You accept that QuickMatch offers an opportunity for meeting new people but that QuickMatch does not guarantee that any participant at an event will successfully match with another participant. QuickMatch does not guarantee that any meeting between participants after one of our events will turn out to be successful.
We will make every effort to hold events at the dates, times and locations specified on our web site. We do reserve the right to cancel and/or change event dates, times and locations. In the very unlikely event that this does happen and we do cancel an event, you will be refunded your money in full.
QuickMatch reserves the right to invite media to attend events. Although not a regular occurrence, cameras may be present at our events. We will use our best efforts to communicate and ensure that those participants who do not wish to be on film are not photographed, although QuickMatch makes no representations or guarantees whatsoever regarding whether a participant is or is not actually photographed. Furthermore, members agree and understand that by attending one of our events, he or she may be filmed or recorded and he or she will receive no compensation whatsoever for this.
You may not engage in advertising to, or solicitation of, other members to buy or sell any products or services through the Service. The participant acknowledges that if he or she works for, is contracted by, or plans to work for or be contracted by any similarly competing service, user will not be able to attend any QuickMatch event without the express permission of QuickMatch prior to registering. The website, the service and the events are for the personal use of individual users and mmbers only and may not be used in connection with any commercial endeavors. Organizations, companies, and/or businesses may not become mmbers of QuickMatch and should not use the service or website for any purpose. Illegal and/or unauthorized uses of the website, including unauthorized framing of or linking to the website will be investigated, and appropriate legal action will be taken, including without limitation, civil, criminal, and injunctive redress. You will not transmit any chain letters or junk email to other members. It's also a violation of these rules to use any information obtained from the service in order to harass, abuse, or harm another person, or in order to contact, advertise to, solicit, or sell to any member without their prior explicit consent.

Cancellation Policy
Anyone who has booked and paid for a QuickMatch Speed Dating event has the right to cancel at any time by sending an email to registration@quickmatch.ca stating that they wish to cancel. We will then send a cancellation ID via email and refund the amount paid in full, provided the cancellation request is recieved (2) days or more before the event. To be fair to everyone else booked onto the event, if the cancellation request is within 48 hours of an event, there will be no refund.

Privacy Statement & Confidentiality
QuickMatch practices a firm commitment to privacy and follows best practices regarding the gathering and dissemination for our website QuickMatch.com. QuickMatch respects and understands the importance of your privacy and will never sell, share, or otherwise transfer your personal information to any third parties. All details are kept in the QuickMatch database. QuickMatch reserves the right to release information only if compelled to do so by proper governmental or judicial authorities. When registering with QuickMatch, you will be required to provide your email address and other personal information. We may use your email address to contact you about upcoming events and announcements that we believe may be of interest to you. At any time, you may opt out of receiving such communications by sending us an email at support@quickmatch.ca requesting to unsubscribe from our mailing list.
When your information is collected, it will only be used to advise you of upcoming QuickMatch events and for correspondence relating to any events for which you have booked. As necessary, QuickMatch may contact you for reasons pertaining to your participation or intended participation in a QuickMatch event. When participating in a QuickMatch event, you are giving permission to us to forward your email address and your first name to any participants with whom you "match". A mutual "match" is when both parties score a "yes" for each other, indicating that they both would like to be in contact again. We will not forward your email address to any other people in attendance at the event, without your prior permission.

Notification of Changes
At any time, this Agreement is subject to change by QuickMatch. This Agreement sets out the legally binding terms for your membership, use of the Web site and participation in Events and may be modified by QuickMatch from time to time, such modifications to be effective upon posting on the web site.

Copyright Statement
All content included on this web site including text, graphics, images, logos and software is the property of QuickMatch or its content suppliers, unless otherwise indicated, and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. No resale use may be made of material on this web site at any time.
Without limiting the foregoing, if you believe that your work has been copied and posted on the Service in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide our Copyright Agent with the following information: an electronic or physical signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of the copyright interest; a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed; a description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the Web site; your address, telephone number, and email address; a written statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; a statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the above information in your Notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
